Everyone knows a couple like Jack and Grace. He has looks and wealth; she has charm and elegance. He’s a dedicated attorney who has never lost a case; she is a flawless homemaker, a masterful gardener and cook, and dotes on her disabled younger sister. Though they are still newlyweds, they seem to have it all. You might not want to like them, but you do. You’re hopelessly charmed by the ease and comfort of their home, by the graciousness of the dinner parties they throw. You’d like to get to know Grace better.

But it’s difficult, because you realize Jack and Grace are inseparable.

Some might call this true love. Others might wonder why Grace never answers the phone. Or why she can never meet for coffee, even though she doesn’t work. How she can cook such elaborate meals but remain so slim. Or why she never seems to take anything with her when she leaves the house, not even a pen. Or why there are such high-security metal shutters on all the downstairs windows.

Some might wonder what’s really going on once the dinner party is over, and the front door has closed.

From bestselling author B. A. Paris comes the gripping thriller and international phenomenon Behind Closed Doors.

This book was finished in three days tops. Would've been finished sooner but I was on a cruise when I was reading this book. The entire plot kept me on my toes and you never knew what was coming around the next page. Very well thought out story.

Requires some suspension of disbelief but it is a good read nonetheless.

I'll keep it brief...if you want to read about animal cruelty and death.....or plans to torture a young, autistic woman, this is the book for you. Nothing enjoyable about it..
  • Amazing

I usually don’t write reviews ... but this book and author are amazing!! I finished the book in less than 3 days!! She has a way to lure you in and keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more!! Thank you for renewing my love of reading 😀
  • Mental warfare like you’ve never read it!

The review question asks, "What did you think?" But I've got a question of my own: WHY ON EARTH ISN'T THIS BOOK A MOVIE, YET?! It was hands down the BEST novel I've read in a good six months. The suspense, the mental warfare and finally, the best most ironic takedown of the bad "guy" EVER. This book deserves ten stars. I love it so much that even though I read the e-book, I will be picking up a hard copy so that I can reread again and again! Spectacular story telling!

  • Fantastic Book!!!

Wow! So suspenseful I could not put it down. Horrific premise, that anyone could be so cruel and get away with it - it was just pulse-pounding scary from the beginning. Great read!
  • Too good to put down.
