See the world of Fifty Shades of Grey anew through the eyes of Christian Grey.

In Christian's own words, and through his thoughts, reflections, and dreams, E L James offers a fresh perspective on the love story that has enthralled millions of readers around the world.

Christian Grey exercises control in all things; his world is neat, disciplined, and utterly empty—until the day that Anastasia Steele falls into his office, in a tangle of shapely limbs and tumbling brown hair. He tries to forget her, but instead is swept up in a storm of emotion he cannot comprehend and cannot resist. Unlike any woman he has known before, shy, unworldly Ana seems to see right through him—past the business prodigy and the penthouse lifestyle to Christian’s cold, wounded heart.

Will being with Ana dispel the horrors of his childhood that haunt Christian every night? Or will his dark sexual desires, his compulsion to control, and the self-loathing that fills his soul drive this girl away and destroy the fragile hope she offers him?

This book is intended for mature audiences.

    Loved the book!
  • Grey- AMAZING

Seriously helps you understand their relationship on a whole new level hearing his side. It's awesome that she took the time to basically rewrite the entire story again but on a totally different view. It also fills in a lot of gaps to the story, and makes it much easier to relate to his character. Can't wait to read the next one! Really hoping the story never ends.
  • A whole new perspective

Genius, captivating. Couldn’t put it down. The author is just brilliant in how she weaves these two books together. Unanswered questions from 50 shades are now answered. My palms are twitching waiting for “Darker” to be realeased.

I recently read the fifty shades trilogy, which it only took me 7 days. I just purchased this yesterday and I have already finished. I find this series captivating and hard to put down. I loved reading it from Christian's perspective, it gave a little more insight and explanation to his behavior throughout the first book. I really wish that there were books for darker and freed though, I really did enjoy reading the trilogy and grey. I highly recommend reading these books!
  • Read what you like

I know a lot of people hate on the fifty shades movies and books, I use to be one of them, but screw all that noise. I finally watched the movie and fell in love and immediately watched the sequel and bought and read all four books. Give these books a chance, they are spell-binding. Most importantly tho, read and watch whatever the hell you want, don't let other people or society stop you from enjoying your life.

Not as good as the originals. But if you liked the 50 shades of grey series you may find this one entertaining
  • Very repetitive

Very repetitive from Ana's version. It is written like Ana is saying everything not a man. The only difference is a few flash backs from Christians childhood. It was very dragging and I expected more of christians back story

Loved it!!! Would love to have the rest of the series in Grey's perspective... fun to read from his point of view!
