Description

See the world of Fifty Shades of Grey anew through the eyes of Christian Grey.

In Christian's own words, and through his thoughts, reflections, and dreams, E L James offers a fresh perspective on the love story that has enthralled millions of readers around the world.

Christian Grey exercises control in all things; his world is neat, disciplined, and utterly empty—until the day that Anastasia Steele falls into his office, in a tangle of shapely limbs and tumbling brown hair. He tries to forget her, but instead is swept up in a storm of emotion he cannot comprehend and cannot resist. Unlike any woman he has known before, shy, unworldly Ana seems to see right through him—past the business prodigy and the penthouse lifestyle to Christian’s cold, wounded heart.

Will being with Ana dispel the horrors of his childhood that haunt Christian every night? Or will his dark sexual desires, his compulsion to control, and the self-loathing that fills his soul drive this girl away and destroy the fragile hope she offers him?

This book is intended for mature audiences.

However, its the same story so don't expect anything new. People who don't like Bdsm should not be reading this.
  • I really don't mind it. Can't wait for the next book!

Yes, there are part of the book that are identical to the first one. BUT, it goes deeper into Christian's love for Anastasia - specially when Ana leaves him after the brutal punishment he gives her. I can't wait for the next book.

Love this book series. Only giving three stars because of how she left the book. It was like she just stopped typing and called it a wrap. Disappointed. Up until the ending it's an excellent read though!

I agree with the others, this book is exactly the same as the fifty shades of grey. Only in Christan's words. I think the words he uses turns me on more when talking about Ana more so then the first book. I don't think it was a waste of money but I do think it leaves you hanging wanting more. That's the most terrible thing, when a book leave you with unanswered questions. I love the fifty shades trilogy, this could of been written better I think this book should of answered all the questions from the first three and it didn't.

It is excellent to finally read about a man's innermost thoughts and feelings and discovery that he doesn't have to be dominant in a relationship. I enjoyed the banter between Grey and Ana and you wind up routing for him to be able to win her back. His willingness to reflect on his own actions and try to see things from Ana's point of view makes me hopeful.
  • More of Grey Please!!!

I love this book. It gives insight from his side. How he feels and sees things. I would love if she would write a book for each of the book of 50 shades from Greys view. PLEASE!!!!

Most of the book was a repeat of the first book. Some insist to Christian but did not fully deliver. Felt cheated out of my money for paying for almost the same book twice

Just like the Fifty Shades trilogy this was well written. Intoxicating. Erotic. I hope this isn't the end. If the critics would read the books they would understand this is a love story of a broken man that is healed from an innocent young woman. Please keep writing.

I was so thrilled when this book came out. To be honest, his perspective made for better reading. My main problem is that as long as the book was, his side of the rest of the story to me felt incomplete. Is there ever going to be a part two or three to complete his version? If there isn't, then this was a waste of money and time.

First of all, I loved the title. Was different seeing the story from Christian's point of view. Just wanted you to write more; felt like I was left hanging.....maybe a GreyII would be great addition, yes???? Thank you!
